Hi and welcome from The Meditation Society of Australia.
The focus of this site is to explore spirituality in a simple and FREE way for the entire world.
The meditation society is non-denominational - it has no religious,
political or financial affiliations - we are a community organisation
encompassing all faiths, who exist to help you learn to meditate.
We offer a free online meditation course.
Our online course features a written step-by-step guide for people learning
to meditate - each class includes a free radio quality audio recording of the discussion topic and a guided meditation
exercise that you can download and play (these are also available as
podcasts).
Everyone can access the written classes, to access the downloads you need to
be a member (membership is free).
Premium members (for a $10 subscription) receive these downloads in
CD quality as well as 10% off all items
for sale.
A mixture of meditation methods are explored from a range of spiritual
teachings, including mantra, visualization, music, breath and scene-based
guided meditation.
We have started a new
subdomain
download.meditation.org.au
to help with the huge demand
for more free meditation resources. Here you can find
free meditation music,
inspirational spoken word
and meditation exercises
that you can easily
download.

We also stock a range of inexpensive
meditation
books and CD's
(posted worldwide) and
incense and gift packs
(only
for Australia sorry)
that are perfect for meditation and relaxation.
Lots of fragrances, prices start at 50c!
And if you are looking to compare
particular established meditation groups and spiritual paths, check out our
meditation
directory and you will see how they rate according to fellow
meditators. We have also created a new social networking site
freemeditate.org
for people looking for a local meditation group in their area, wherever they may be
in the world. Or expand your horizons and join the worldwide online
community of meditators on our
forum.
Perfect for 5-13 year olds
getting started in meditation is our newest subdomain
children.meditation.org.au.
You can now follow the
meditation society on twitter and facebook for regular affirmations, mini meditations,
tips and more twitter ->

We will be sharing
audios,
videos and
much more, with the opportunity to create and join
groups
much more seamlessly than ever before.
We hope you will check out the real and
virtual groups in your area and around the world.
So please get involved -

some spiritual friends.
